Complete Your Forms
Before your first appointment, you'll need to complete the new-client paperwork. Please bring your completed forms, insurance card, and information about your benefits.

Meet With Amy
Your first session is an opportunity to discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your goals, and begin getting to know one another.
There's no pressure to tell your entire story at once.
What to Expect at Your First Therapy Appointment
Your story matters. And you get to share it at your own pace.

Your initial appointment will last approximately 45–55 minutes. Amy will ask questions to better understand your concerns, relevant personal and family history, and what you're hoping to gain from therapy.
It's completely understandable to feel nervous about opening up to someone new.
Whether you've been to therapy before or this is your first experience, Amy's approach emphasizes compassion, respect, and moving at a pace that feels manageable for you. You don't need to know exactly what to say or where to begin.

Please bring your completed consent and client info forms (from the link above). Please bring your insurance card and information about your benefits. Plan to pay your co-pay amount, checks are preferred. Our initial assessment and follow up therapy sessions are 45-55 minutes long.
It can be overwhelming to think about telling your story to someone you've just met. Please know that we will take things at your pace. Our initial appointment will be a time for me to gather some information to complete an assessment. Together we will explore what is bringing you into therapy and to the level of your comfort, your personal and family history.
Payment is expected at the time of service and can be made by cash or check. I can also accept credit card payments.
