Depending on your coverage, you may be responsible for a copayment, coinsurance, deductible, or other applicable costs.

If you plan to use insurance, Amy recommends calling the mental health or behavioral health number on the back of your insurance card before your first session. Ask about:

  • Your deductible and how much of it you’ve met

  • Your copay or coinsurance for outpatient therapy

  • How many sessions your plan covers

  • Whether pre-authorization is required
